Welcome to Troop 486!
We are located in Richmond Hill, Georgia , just south of Savannah. In this part of Coastal Georgia, we are surrounded by many tidal rivers, marsh, and just minutes from several beaches. We also have a plethora of wild life that includes alligators, wild boar, fox, eagles, hawks, mosquitoes, love bugs, and sand gnats that are relentless.
We are also home to Fort Stewart Army Base, with Hunter Army Airfield just up the road. With these military installations so close, many of our scouts are from military homes. These scouts, having lived in many different places, bring with them different experiences that add diversity to our troop.
